Staff Nurse- Prison Practitioner
At Randstad we are looking for Registered General nurses to work in a prison environment. The ideal nurse would have previous experience working in prisons, however don't worry if it was a long tie ago refresher trianing is provided and fully paid for. If you are compassionate, dedicated and hardworking, we would love to hear from you. Working in the prison environment will allow you to provide care and support to a wide range of individuals with varying needs who are often vulnerable. The role will enhance and develop your skills and provide you with a unique working experience while making a difference to the lives of prisoners.
Work Flexibility
At Randstad we can offer a work pattern that suits you and your lifestyle. You can work anything from 1 shift a week to full-time contracts. The shifts we offer can be flexible around your schedule and match the work life balance you desire with day shifts and night shifts available. These shifts are easy to access and bookable via our app.
Competitive and Clear Pay Rates:

1. Monday to Friday Day Shift: £31.10 per hour
2. Saturday Day Shift: £40.43 per hour
3. Sunday Day and Night Shift: £49.75 per hour
4. Monday to Saturday Night Shift: £40.43 per hour
Responsibilities:
5. Provide high quality care in a professional and caring manner
6. Communicate with the wider team and patients
7. Administer medications and create treatment plans unique to each person
8. Prepare reports and documentation in accordance with prison healthcare policies and regulatory requirements.
9. Collaborate with a diverse medical team to manage critical situations and ensure timely patient care
10. Comply with prison safety measures and security protocols
Requirements:
11. Valid NMC registration and PIN
12. Minimum of 12 months post qualified work experience
13. Strong attention to detail and high quality clinical skills
14. Great interpersonal skills and proactive communication abilities
15. The ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
