The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our workshop in Longhope. The successful candidate will be able to take a project from drawing through to completion with minimal supervision. You'll work on bespoke furniture and cabinetry, ensuring precision, quality, and creativity in every piece.
Responsibilities:
* Read and interpret technical drawings.
* Produce accurate cutting lists.
* Manufacture projects from start to finish to a high standard.
* Operate and program CNC machinery to support production.
* Carry out high-quality finishing, including sanding, spraying, fitting, and surface treatments.
* Work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills.
* Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient workshop environment.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a cabinet maker or bench joiner.
* Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and hand tools.
* Ability to work from technical drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
* CNC programming/operating experience.
* Skilled in finishing techniques, including spraying, with an eye for detail and quality.
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal input.
* Pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.

* Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE.
