Sales Manager Job – B2B Exhibitions in Redhill, Surrey
Salary: £37,000 - £50,000 + 40% OTE + Hybrid working + 25 Days Holiday + Progression Opportunities
Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager job based in Redhill, Surrey for an award-winning B2B Events company. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial company with ambitious growth plans over the next few years.
At Sales Manager level you will be driving revenue across sponsorship, exhibition space and digital solutions for their new launch show, so you must be comfortable with new business as this will form the majority of the role. At Senior Sales Manager, you will be mentoring two sales managers whilst reporting to the Event Director, contributing to revenue across two of their shows.
If you have experience in the defence, military, safety or emergency services sectors this will be beneficial, although not essential to the role. You will be joining a hard working and sociable team with further scope to progress as they continue to expand their portfolio of events. The ideal candidate:
* 2+ years’ experience in B2B events sales, ideally with some experience in B2B Trade shows
* Experience selling sponsorship, exhibition space and digital solutions
* You must be able to demonstrate a solid track record of achieving sales targets
* At Senior Sales Manager level you must have some experience in mentoring or managing sales teams
* Consultative sales approach is a must
* Keen to progress and grow into a management role if sitting at Sales Manager / Senior Sales Executive level
* Commercially aware, with the ability to spot market demands and potential new revenue streams
* Excellent relationship builder both over the phone and face to face
* You must have the ability to travel across the UK and internationally as required
* Salary of £37,000 - £50,000 (negotiable dependent on experience)
* 40% OTE (uncapped - this includes 4% of sales, quarterly bonus and show bonus)
* 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

About the role:
* Selling sponsorship, digital solutions and exhibition space for B2B Trade Shows
* Upselling and rebooking existing accounts and generating new business
* Meeting with clients at live events, face to face meetings, teams and phone calls
* Update sales pipeline and CRM (Hubspot)
* Express new initiatives or ideas to maximise on revenue, based on market feedback / demand
* Understand the clients objectives and delivering a solution to fit
* Mentor/manage a small sales team of 2 if you are a Senior Sales Manager
