Science Teacher – Secondary (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)

Daily Rate: £163–£263
Protocol Education is recruiting a Science Teacher to work in a secondary school in Newcastle with a strong focus on curiosity, enquiry and practical learning.
The school is committed to delivering an engaging and accessible Science curriculum that supports all learners, including those who may lack confidence in STEM subjects. Staff benefit from clear systems, collaborative planning and strong departmental support. The school is easily accessible via local bus routes.
Key responsibilities:
* Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
* Delivering practical and theory-based lessons safely and effectively
* Adapting teaching to support a range of abilities
* Supporting exam preparation and subject understanding
* Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
This role would suit:
* Qualified Science teachers with a Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism
* ECTs looking to build classroom experience
* Experienced teachers seeking flexible or long-term work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
