Senior Insight Manager At Pets at Home, our ambition is to become the best pet care business in the world. We're now looking for a Senior Insight Manager to join our Insight function and lead high impact analytical work that directly shapes strategy and commercial outcomes across the Group. About the Role As a Senior Insight Manager, you'll operate as a senior analytical leader, owning complex, high value business questions end to end. You'll move beyond standard reporting - leading bespoke analysis, defining the right analytical approach, and translating data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence senior decision makers. You'll act as a trusted insight partner to leaders across the business, challenging assumptions and guiding decisions with evidence. You'll also be a formal people manager, responsible for developing an Insight Analyst and helping grow capability within the Insight function. This is a role with significant autonomy and visibility, focused on impact rather than output volume. What you'll do Lead deep dive, bespoke analysis on strategically important business questions. Take ownership of ambiguous problem statements, shaping hypotheses and analytical approaches that focus on material business impact. Translate complex analysis into clear, commercially relevant recommendations that inform strategic and operational decisions. Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group. Influence decision making through confident communication, insight storytelling and commercial reasoning. Line manage and develop an Insight Analyst, providing coaching, feedback and performance support. Oversee the quality of insight outputs, including decision ready presentations and targeted analysis. Contribute to shaping insight standards, ways of working and prioritisation to maximise value delivered by the function. About You You'll be an experienced insight or analytics professional who thrives on solving complex problems, influencing senior stakeholders and focusing analytical effort where it matters most. You'll bring: Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large scale data warehouses. Experience using Python or R for analysis and automation. A strong track record of delivering bespoke, strategic insight rather than purely standardised reporting. The ability to influence senior, non technical stakeholders through clear communication and commercial thinking. A strong commercial mindset, linking insight to financial, customer and operational outcomes. Proven experience managing and developing analysts. Excellent storytelling and presentation skills, able to distil complexity into concise, decision focused narratives. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with comfort working at pace. You'll typically have 5 years' experience in analytics, insight or business intelligence roles, ideally within a fast paced commercial or consumer environment.
