Our holistic development in body, mind and spirit and our mission to break down barriers to achievement and help local people to fulfil their potential has remained our constant purpose.
Every year, we support over 300 individuals in our housing provision, enabling them to grow their confidence and move into education, training, employment and into independent living. Alongside this we provide a whole host of youth and community services including our own community gardens. We also provide training and education to 150 young people each year who find mainstream education more difficult, as well as high-quality childcare within our community.
Our team works hard to provide as much care and support for those who need it most, every day we make a difference.
Role Title: Youth Worker
Responsible To: Lifelong Learning Project Manager
Salary: £25,418.39pa
Hours: 35, full-time including some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
Location: Campus
To empower and inspire young people living in our Foyer to achieve their potential by encouraging and supporting them to build upon their strengths and talents.
Design and deliver a programme of group activities to prepare young people to live healthy independent lives in the future.
Find creative and innovative ways to engage and motivate young people, and to give them a voice. To review and adapt our delivery based on the feedback from the people we support.
To be accountable to the people using our services, and to report back to them on a quarterly basis around delivery and impact.
Build positive and mutually beneficial relationships with partner agencies and with our local community that will benefit the young people living in our Foyer.

A full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
