Specialist Educator in Engineering Power Network
We’re recruiting for a Specialist Educator in Engineering Power Networks to join our team at The Loughborough College Group. The College is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive community with the belief that diversity plays an important role in the success of our business.
Responsibilities
* You will be expected to deliver a case load of taught delivery, practical activity and support tutorials per week, with the remainder of the hours spent on preparation and marking.
* Professional experience and expertise is required; training in teaching and assessment for higher education will be provided, along with in-class mentoring and support for preparation of materials and activities.
* There is potential for delivering at other locations, so it may be necessary to work at employers’ premises in the UK for up to four weeks at a time. Accommodation will be provided and travel expenses to and from the site each week will be paid. You will need a valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
* You will be required to have at least one of the following qualifications/experiences:
* An electrical engineering degree and extensive professional experience in power generation, networks, distribution or high current / high voltage applications
* An electrical engineering HNC or HND and extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with some supervisory experience
* An extensive professional experience in power generation, distribution or high current / high voltage applications, with extensive supervisory experience
