Contract Opportunity: SME Microsoft Fabric Engineer - End-to-End Delivery
We're supporting a major organisation on a high-impact project that requires an experienced Microsoft Fabric Engineer who has delivered Fabric solutions end-to-end, from Lakehouse pipelines to Silver/Gold medallion models and Power BI - ready datasets.
If you've worked extensively across Fabric's engineering stack and can hit the ground running,
this one's for you.
Location: Remote (UK)
Day Rate: Negotiable
Contract: Short-term engagement with potential extension
You'll need production experience with:
* Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse (Delta tables)
* Synapse Data Engineering (Spark notebooks)
* Synapse Data Warehouse (SQL)
* Fabric Data Factory pipelines
* Building Silver/Gold (Medallion) data models
* Strong SQL + Python (ideally PySpark inside Fabric)
* Transforming GA4 BigQuery export data
* Ingesting external APIs/SaaS sources (ideally Contentful or similar)
* Preparing Power BI-ready data models (fact/dim schemas)
Strongly Preferred:
* Familiarity with Azure data services (ADF, ADLS, Azure SQL)
* Experience joining web analytics with CMS/CRM data
* Understanding of data governance + PII handling in analytics platforms
Nice to Have:
* dbt (Core or Cloud)
* Experience with modern lakehouse stacks (Databricks, Snowflake)
* Background in nonprofit/charity analytics (not essential)
