The Role
* Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 depending on experience
* Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in performance, composition, and theory
* Supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level coursework and examination preparation
* Leading or contributing to ensembles, choirs, or instrumental groups
* Supporting school productions, concerts, and performance events
* Monitoring pupil progress and implementing strategies to raise attainment
* Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A degree in Music or a closely related discipline
* Experience teaching Music at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge across practical and theoretical components
* High expectations for pupil engagement and achievement
* A professional, organised, and creative teaching approach
