Job Title: Electrical Quality Lead

Salary: £90,000 per annum + package
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Lead to take ownership of electrical quality assurance and quality control on a large-scale data centre project in Berkshire. This is a senior, site-based role responsible for ensuring all electrical works are delivered in full compliance with project specifications, UK regulations, client standards, and commissioning requirements typical of mission-critical environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving a “right-first-time” culture across contractors and suppliers, supporting programme certainty and flawless handover.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all electrical QA/QC activities across the project lifecycle, from installation through testing, commissioning, and handover
* Develop, implement, and manage Electrical Quality Plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and check sheets
* Ensure compliance with:
* Project specifications and drawings
* BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations)
* Relevant British Standards, IEC standards, and statutory requirements
* Review and approve:
* Method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)
* Technical submittals and material approvals
Required Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in a senior electrical quality role on data centre or mission-critical projects
* Strong background in:
* LV & HV systems
Qualifications
* Recognised Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
* ECS / CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)
* Relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications advantageous
* SMSTS or equivalent desirable but not essential
