Location: Coulport, near Helensburgh (Scotland - 20 minutes north of Helensburgh)
Package: Starting from £40,000
Working pattern: Monday - Thursday (core hours) with opportunities for shifts and overtime, including occasional weekend work and shifts over 7 days.
Let us introduce the role: The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations on the production floor to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include managing a team, ensuring quality standards, and meeting production targets within deadlines.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Production Management: Plan, organise, and oversee production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines. Monitor and adjust processes for efficiency.
2. Team Supervision: Assign tasks based on skills, conduct team meetings, and communicate goals and updates.
3. Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet standards, work with QA team on corrective actions.
4. Health and Safety: Enforce safety regulations, conduct inspections and risk assessments.
5. Resource Management: Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure resource availability, minimise waste, and optimise equipment use.
6. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, report incidents or malfunctions.
7. Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Key Skills and Competencies:
* Recognised craft apprenticeship (Electrical or Mechanical) or relevant engineering degree with experience.
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Understanding of production processes, equipment, quality control, and safety regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency with production management software.
