Position Details
* Location: Copse Court, Thorpe Wood, Peterborough (Thorpe Wood)
* Employment type: Full‑time, Permanent
* Salary: £30,333 per annum
* Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30‑16:30. Hybrid working may be possible.

Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive diary management, making appointments, arranging meetings and prioritising competing demands for Managers.
* Work without supervision and proactively manage issues/problems in their absence.
* Liaise with other Force senior managers and external organisations to ensure briefing notes and documentation are available and anticipate requirements.
* Manage meeting logistics: room bookings, preparation of papers/agenda, minute/action taking using Microsoft Teams.
* Manage communication on behalf of Managers including email, prioritising competing demands; respond, delegate, distribute and flag up; anticipate potential problems and seek resolution proactively.
* Plan and coordinate travel arrangements as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* At least 3 years’ experience (or equivalent) in a secretarial post.
* GCSE or equivalent (minimum Grade C) in English Language.
* Secretarial qualification(s) in typing or word processing such as RSA III.
* Clear, accurate, concise written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
* Solution‑focused approach to any query or task.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours, duties and required training.
