SHWEQ Advisor
Location: Office based in Morpeth but moving to the Washington area
Salary: Up to £45k per annum, depending on experience plus a Company Car or Car Allowance
Contract: Full time, Permanent

We are seeking a talented SHWEQ Advisor to become an integral part of our SHWEQ team.

What you'll be doing:
Reporting directly to the SHWEQ Manager, you will assist in the continual improvement of Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environmental and Quality by providing advice and guidance to the business.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for:
The provision of professional SHWEQ advice and hands-on support to the regional delivery teams.
Carry out site, depot, and facilities inspections.
Contribute to the continuous development of SHWEQ Policies and Procedures.
Conduct incident investigations, root cause analysis and preventative actions.
In collaboration with the SHWEQ and Compliance Advisor, conduct Management System auditing.
Contribute to SHWEQ working groups, committees, and forums.
Deliver proactive on-site SHWEQ training.
Carry out contractor audits, reviews and approvals.
Attendance and contribution to client and third-party seminars, whilst obtaining learning and development opportunities for the business.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
Possess the skills to compose user-friendly risk assessments, policies, and procedures.
Full clean UK driving licence and a willingness to travel UK wide with some overnight stays.
A good communicator with the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
Strong IT and presentation skills.
Collaborative site inspection experience, using pragmatic solutions to overcome challenges, shortfalls, and recognise good practises.
Train the trainer or coaching and mentoring skills.
