Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum - DOE

About the Role
We are looking for a professionaland proactive Registered Manager/RMN to lead a team to take people, with severeautism and associated mental health conditions, from low to medium secure units,back home to their local community.Youwill lead this new and exciting ‘HCD Genesis’ project, with a specificallytrained head office team, to bring people, with complex Learning Disabilities /Autism and associated mental health issues, out of long stay hospitals backhome.
HCD Genesis has beenspecifically created to use the ‘HCD Model’ to work with and help ICBsnationally to comply with the law change in the non-admission to secure unitsof people with primary complex autism and associated mental health conditions.
This is a Head Officeand community-based management role, working in partnership with otherqualified professionals to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* To have overall responsibilityfor the management of HCD Genesis Regional Nurses and Care Leads.
* Support the day-to-daymanagement in meeting KPI targets
* Collaborate with internalteams and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
* Take the lead on SpecialMeasures meetings
* Provide support to the HeadOffice teams and HCD Genesis nurses regarding safeguarding issues and to ensurecorrect procedures are followed
* Liaise with the TrainingManager to ensure staff training needs are being met
* Effectively manage anycomplaints relating to HCD Genesis employees
* Promote the rights of eachclient and ensure their wishes are at the centre of their support
* Participate in the growth anddevelopment of the service
* Promote excellent customerservice throughout the workplace, ensuring communication processes are meetingclient expectations
* Raise any concerns with theClinical Operations Director
* Ensure notifications aresubmitted to the Care Quality Commission as required
* Undertake and support specificprojects and tasks allocated by the Company Director
* Attend quarterly managementmeetings
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
* NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5or higher) – qualified for at least 2years
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Healthand Social Care
* Experience in Forensic Mental Health
* Extensive knowledge of the Health &Social Care Act 2008
* Previous experience of working in aManagement role
* Previous experience of Complex Autism withassociated Mental Health conditions
* Competent in Microsoft Office and ITsystems
* Full UK driving licence and access to yourown vehicle
* Flexible and professional with a highattention to detail
* Desirable: Experience in facilitating or planning discharges from specialistinpatient settings
* Desirable: Experienceof home-based support services
* Desirable: Knowledge of Personal Health Budgets, Direct Payments and Case Managementcompensation claims
