Role summary:
Converting business requirements to technical SAP FICO specs
Take responsibility for providing focus on SAP FI and CO-based business applications, from project initiation to daily operations. Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective solutions, ensuring SAP development is technically suitable. Provide support and advice on SAP application solutions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers to fulfill and deliver solutions. Serve as the main contact for related issues.
Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules such as SD and MM, and understanding of SAP authorization processes.
Skills/Responsibilities:
* Experience in a SAP FICO environment with full project lifecycle involvement
* Strong functional SAP FICO experience in build, design, and configuration
* Good understanding of financial functions: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit Control
* Proven track record of successful SAP finance projects
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at all levels
* Accountability for milestone tracking, success factors, and resource management
* Proactive risk, issue, and dependency management
* Ability to interpret business needs into solutions collaboratively
* Work with IT colleagues to manage system developments and SAP changes
* Produce weekly and monthly reports; attend project reviews
* Facilitate key project meetings with business and IT teams
* Improve project management processes within the PMO
* Manage the UAT process with key users
