Business Services provide administrative support to many areas across Children and Young Peoples Services including Social Care, Early Help and Children Centres.
A key element of the role will be to process incoming information and documents using specific systems and to meet set thresholds. Therefore, a proven ability to produce work which is accurate and demonstrates attention to detail is essential. In addition, you will be required to arrange and support highly confidential meetings, both in person and virtually. It is therefore also essential that you can demonstrate an ability to produce minutes to a high standard, which are detailed and accurate and within set timescales.
The role of a business services assistant is interesting and varied and you will play a key role in making a difference to the children and families of Rotherham. Until 31st March 2026 employees paid at Band D and above are subject to a temporary pay reduction of 1.15% spread out by means of a monthly deduction from each pay period over the full financial year.
