Based in Liverpool, they are expanding their finance team and seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee financial management and support strategic growth.
The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing the company’s financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role is critical in maintaining robust financial controls and driving the financial performance of the organisation.
Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
•Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
•Ensure compliance with healthcare sector regulations and accounting standards (e.g., Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
•Support internal and external audit processes.
•Implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
•Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
•Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with operational needs.
•Lead financial systems upgrades and process improvements.
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
•Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance role, ideally within healthcare or regulated industries.
•Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance in the UK healthcare sector.
