Role Description
This is a full-time in-person role working from our premises in Ashby-De-La-Zouch and installing furniture across the Midlands. As a Furniture Fitter, you will be responsible for installing bespoke furniture such as kitchens, dressing rooms, boot rooms and other home furniture, ensuring precision and attention to detail at every stage. Your duties will include interpreting plans and designs, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with the design and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and professional workspace at all times.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in furniture installation, and use of hand and power tools
* Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical plans or designs
* Experience in furniture installation, joinery, or carpentry is essential
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to meet project deadlines
* Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy materials safely
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
* Prior experience in a similar role or within the furniture industry is essential
