We're looking for a Proposals Engineer to join our Southern Water framework team based in Crawley.
Location: Crawley - remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Reporting to the Head of Estimating, you'll use your analytical skills and attention to detail to create comprehensive estimations while working in a supportive environment that values your contribution and nurtures your professional growth.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Proposals Engineer, you'll be working within the Estimating team, supporting them in delivering accurate and competitive tenders. Your day to day will include:
* Managing enquiry schedules and documentation for mechanical and electrical works from tender specifications and drawings.
* Evaluating supplier quotations and ensuring they meet project specifications.
* Preparing project risk registers and participating in risk assessment meetings.
* Leading tender adjudication and presentations to senior management.
* Attending site visits and client meetings to develop optimal project solutions.
What are we looking for?
This role of Proposals Engineer is great for you if:
* You have experience in the Water industry with a practical understanding of infrastructure activities
* You possess commercial awareness and enjoy collaborative problem-solving
* You hold an HNC/HND/Degree in a Construction or Engineering related discipline
* You're confident with Microsoft packages, particularly Excel.
