Job Advert Night Shift-Production Operators Based Newbridge-on-Wye Night Shift (Monday-Thursday 9:30pm-6am, Friday 5pm-10pm) Full-time / Permanent We are looking to recruit a Night Shift Production Operator to join our workforce across our BSW Timber site in Newbridge. As a Production Operator, you will contribute towards the creation of quality timber products – on time and to specification. Specifically, some responsibilities of a Production Operator may include: * Operation of state-of-the-art sawmilling machinery. * Housekeeping duties. * Manual handling of timber. * Working towards set production targets. * Operation of mobile plant vehicles. * Upholding the appropriate health And Safety practices. About you: Ideally, we’re seeking motivated and hardworking individuals who are quality focused and who understand the value of the goods they are producing. A degree of flexibility will be required to ensure operations are maximised, maintained and quality targets are met with minimum wastage. In addition, you will have: * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Good organisational skills and attention to detail. * An appreciation of quality and Health & Safety. * Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role. * Experience within a manufacturing, or similar production environment, would be advantageous. * Willingness to undertake all relevant training required to fulfil the role.
