Up to £67K Excellent Benefits Hi We’re partnering with a prestigious institution to find a Fully Qualified Accountant to join their close-knit finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of key financial functions including statutory reporting, audit support, investment oversight, and payroll, while contributing to a meaningful mission within a respected and values-led organisation. As a Fully Qualified Accountant, you will: Lead on the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process Provide expert guidance on accounting treatments and uphold strong financial controls Support a small transactional finance team across AP, AR, and month-end close Contribute to the financial oversight of trusts, endowments, and drawdowns Oversee payroll approvals, tax compliance, and employee benefit schemes Produce detailed cash flow forecasts and support treasury management Work collaboratively across departments to support financial planning and promote value-for-money What we’re looking for: CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, or equivalent) Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards (RCCA/UK GAAP) Proven experience in financial and management accounting Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems Experience supporting or leading small finance teams Excellent communication skills and a proactive, hands-on approach Sector experience in education, charity or public sector is desirable This is a rewarding, technically focused role offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a real difference in a mission-driven environment.
