Contract Type: Permanent Working Pattern: Full Time, 40 hours per week, 5/7 shift pattern including split shifts Location: RAINHAM, Essex What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Manager, you will be the backbone of our maintenance operations, responsible for: Leading and managing the planning, coordination, and delivery of all maintenance and repair works. Completing office condition reports and preparing costings for redecoration works. Overseeing hands-on maintenance activities, including basic plumbing, changing light fittings, and responding to tenant requests. Managing a Maintenance Support Operative and ensuring high-quality service delivery. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures. Team Supervision: Allocate work, monitor performance, and support the development of your team. Communication: Act as the main point of contact for tenants regarding maintenance matters. Customer Service: Handle maintenance requests with a customer-centric approach to resolve issues promptly. Stock Management: Oversee maintenance stock, ensuring materials are ordered and stored appropriately. What You Bring: Proven experience in maintenance, with skills in painting, decorating, carpet laying, carpentry, and more. Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations and certifications in health and hygiene, First Aid, and Fire Marshal Training.
