Your mission:

Heat Geek is the most trusted voice in home heating, earning this by being part of the industry. We communicate directly with heating engineers through our successful YouTube channel, educating millions and building a rapidly growing business.

We are building our in-house video team to take our content to the next level. As a startup with significant traction, we want full control over our creative output, brand, and story across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and our website.

If you are passionate about storytelling, clean energy, and creating impactful content, this is your chance to join early and shape our future.

Your profile:
This role involves creating animations that clarify complex topics, making them engaging and understandable. Your motion design will be central to our content, which balances education and entertainment.

You will own the animated elements of our videos, from explainers to product intros, and ensure brand consistency across all digital assets. Video is a key growth channel for us, and your work will directly contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create motion graphics and explainers for YouTube videos
* Design branded transitions, overlays, and lower-thirds
* Develop infographics, illustrations, and visual assets for our website and campaigns
* Maintain a consistent visual style across platforms
* Collaborate with producers and editors to integrate animation into projects

Outputs You’ll Produce:

* Animated diagrams and visual aids for heat pump explanations and theory
* Brand-aligned motion assets for YouTube
* Short animations for social media (Reels, TikTok)
* Visual content for Heat Geek.com and learning platforms

Skills & Experience:

* Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
* Experience creating animations for YouTube, web, and social media
* Strong sense of timing, typography, and brand consistency
* Bonus: experience in editing videos
