Regulatory Solicitor
Stoke‑on‑Trent City Council – Directorate: Resources; Section: Legal; Grade: Level 12; Salary: £45,091 – £48,226; Hours: 37 per week. Open to internal and external applicants.
This role is for a Litigation and Regulatory solicitor covering a broad range of activities including planning, licensing, regulatory, housing and general criminal and civil litigation.
We are looking for a positive, highly motivated person who is confident, versatile and innovative. Advocacy is part of this role and requires strong communication, analytical and drafting skills. Ideally you will have a good understanding of regulatory law, though training will be provided for the right applicant.
Flexibility: 28 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, increased to 33 days after 5 years. Flexibility and hybrid working permitted. The successful applicant will be enrolled into the Local Government Pension Scheme.
