We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school based in Southwark. This is a full-time teaching role starting in September, running for the entire academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer for the right candidate.
About the Role:
* Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
* Start Date: September 2025
* Duration: Full academic year
* Location: Southwark, South London
* Contract: Full-time, via agency - £180-£220 per day depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Work closely with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental success
* Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
