In this pivotal role, you will report directly to our Director of Bidding and lead the charge in pursuing opportunities with major clients across the Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Heritage sectors.

The Role
As our Work Winning / Bid Manager, you will:
* Lead the work winning process across various focus sectors.
* Manage the complete work winning journey—from business development and early engagement to formal procurement and post-tender requirements.
* Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and the supply chain.
* Develop a detailed bid program, ensuring all tasks are identified and resourced effectively.
* Monitor and manage bid budgets throughout the process.
* Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements.
* Craft qualitative responses for specific bids as needed.
* Oversee qualitative bid review processes and contribute to them.
* Maintain our CRM system with up-to-date bid data.
* Be an integral part of our Bid Management team, supporting improvements and development of our bid processes.
Your Profile
We’re looking for someone who is:
* An experienced Work Winning/Bid Manager, ideally with a background in private sector bidding.
* A collaborative individual who can adapt quickly to changing situations.
* Skilled in managing corporate governance related to work winning.
* Capable of leading bid teams to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
* Qualified to degree level or above in a relevant Built Environment field.
* A mentor and leader who can guide a diverse team to provide exceptional service.
* Equipped with strong people management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
* Flexible in working styles, able to navigate cross-sector and geographical challenges.
* Highly organized with excellent planning, time management, and communication skills.
