Facilities and Compliance Officer Required
Contract Length: up to 12 months
Location: Norfolk
Rate of Pay: Negotiable
Venn Group are looking for a Facilities and Compliance Officer to work for a Local Authority in Norfolk
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Provide operational management of the Council's property - particularly the commercial property portfolio where the Council has an occupational landlord responsibility
2. Undertake maintenance, minor repairs and general upkeep of both the internal and external areas of the Council's property including the commercial property portfolio.
3. Daily inspections of properties to ensure all equipment and services work and is fit for purpose
4. Further inspections for specific reasons such insurance policy purposes, grounds maintenance, Health and Safety and Compliance or any other purpose as directed
5. Report any damage / faults regarding the Council's property assets and maintain safe conditions and safe working practices within all the Council's operational property or where the Council has landlord responsibilities.
6. Undertake all health and safety and compliance checks legionella, emergency light testing, PAT testing as directed and maintain accurate and up to date records.
7. Respond to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
8. Carry out inspections, viewings and any other on-site requirements as directed by the line manager
The successful candidate will have:
9. Experience in a similar role
10. Full UK driving license
11. Legionella / Health and Safety Qualifications (Desirable)
