Serving all the pub classics, with a focus on fresh fish via our daily 'Skipper's Catch'. On rugby days, the pub is buzzing with pre-match diners. What we look for in a Sous Chef:
We seek an experienced Sous Chef or Senior CDP aiming for the next step, who is a natural leader with a passion for producing quality fresh food in a welcoming environment. As our Sous Chef, you will:
* Have experience championing excellent service through quality food.
* Demonstrate a passion for leading and developing a team.
* Be an active, hands-on Chef with excellent communication skills.
* Be responsible for managing the kitchen staff rota, training, and health & safety protocols.
* Collaborate with your Head Chef to design and deliver new dishes for menus and specials.
* Show great planning and organizational skills to maintain effective controls regarding GP and labour.
* Proactively drive sales and growth through engagement with kitchen and front of house teams.
