Lead Project Planner
Luton
6-month contract role
Paying up to £70p/h Umbrella (DOE)
Responsibilities:
* Managing a portfolio level response from the Electronics Warfare line of business which will require collaboration and cross functional working to deliver required outcomes
* The schedule activity will be conducted in P6 and use Primavera risk analyzer.
* Coaching and supporting the bid team in the understanding of project controls best practice.
* Application of Schedule Risk Analysis including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for management.
* Ability to work independently, in compliance with all procedures, and able to recognise appropriate escalation scenarios
Experience required:
* Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls experience with proven expertise in bid phase and complex engineering development projects
* Expert user of P6 Scheduling Tool
* Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and recognize and positively interact with stakeholders up to VP level
* Be an APMG Project Controls Practitioner - Desirable
* Be eligible to obtain SC-level security clearance
