Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding Conduct client intake, gather documentation, and carry out KYC/AML checks. Set up new conveyancing files in the case management system. Liaise with clients, estate agents, and mortgage brokers to ensure smooth transaction starts. Conveyancing File Handling Prepare and review property transaction documents (contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage forms). Conduct and review searches (land registry, local authority, environmental) and flag any issues. Monitor progress of transactions, ensuring deadlines are met and clients updated. Assist with post-completion matters, including registration of title and financial settlements. Administrative Support Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, both digital and physical. Support solicitors and senior paralegals with ad hoc tasks to keep transactions moving. Ensure compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in conveyancing, legal administration, or client onboarding preferred. Knowledge of UK property law and conveyancing processes is advantageous. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple files. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly for client-facing tasks. Confident with Microsoft Office and legal case management software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Salary & Benefits £25,000 £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
