About the Role
This full-time Cover Supervisor role is an ideal opportunity for aspiring educators, recent graduates, or individuals with strong classroom experience looking to contribute meaningfully to the life of a school. You'll supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set.

Requirements
* Experience working with young people in a school or similar setting.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Strong classroom presence and ability to maintain discipline.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
* Supervise whole classes in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Manage student behaviour to ensure a focused classroom environment.
* Provide support and encouragement to students in completing tasks.
* Record attendance and report incidents as per school policy.
* Promote a positive and respectful learning culture.
* Help students understand and engage with their work.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.
* Keep students on task and motivated.
* Support individual or small groups of students when needed.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
