We are seeking a highly organised and motivated FEM Engineer to join our proactive and innovative team and to assist in the delivery of technical projects within our extremely busy Aerostructures department.
Responsibilities
1. Responsibility for the checking and approval of FEM analyses in terms of timescale, cost and quality.
2. Working with the relevant stakeholders as appropriate, to report on the technical progress of tasks.
3. Checking and approval of technical deliverables to a high standard (e.g. reports, presentations, ECMs)
4. Coaching and mentoring more junior stress engineers.
5. Identification of potential variations to work scope, or rework at an early stage and escalation to the technical lead.
6. Ensure the adherence to the Company's Quality Assurance Policies in any work undertaken on the project.
7. Responsibility for compiling, checking and approving delivery of Aerostructures engineering Static Stress analyses on time and quality. To achieve this, you will work in teams of engineers to ensure the req...
