Main Duties
* To take responsibility for the administrative process of the clinical pathway for patients at various stages of their clinical journey in receiving treatment.
* To understand current and future requirements for individual patients and take proactive steps to ensure that the pathway is maintained.
* To support and liaise with the clinical teams in progressing patients' journeys within national guidance and improve patient care and experience.
* To alert the service providers, through the escalation policy, where personal intervention has been unsuccessful in a timely manner.
* To support the Administration Team to manage and track the patients through every stage of the patient pathway on a daily basis, to ensure diagnostic tests and any subsequent treatments are achieved within targets and escalate any potential delays in pathways as protocol which will result in breaches as soon as these are identified.
