To provide effective support to the Project Manager, ensuring adherence to Company and legislative procedures and strong working relationships with all stakeholders (internal and external).
You will develop your skills towards becoming accountable for managing parts of projects that have been solely allocated to you with limited complexity, to ensure safety first, quality and on time delivery. You will focus on completion of set tasks and project activities that are core Freyssinet services.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Work closely with the Project Manager to plan and deliver project tasks and outcomes in accordance with schedule
2. Review plans and drawings under the guidance of the Project Manager
3. Complete routine engineering tasks including take-offs after project handover to enable ordering of materials and equipment in accordance with the project specifications and engineering details under the direction and guidance of the Project Manager
4. Draft and revise:
* Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
* Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow-up of corrective actions
* Work Pack Plans (WPPs) & Task Briefs
* Material approval requests (MARs)
1. Set out work
2. Engage with clients’ site representatives and plan work activities with the Project Manager
3. Coordinate daily activities with Site Supervisors
4. Compile site records including detailed allocation sheets, site diaries, photo logs, plant & labour returns, as-built drawings, production schedules, ITPs, and other quality documents
5. Analyze and track changes to update the contract programme weekly
6. Identify issues or changes to the Scope of Work (SOW) and escalate to the Project Manager
7. Assist in preparing project QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) documents
8. Support project close-out and reporting processes
9. Conduct weekly site safety inspections and promote safety culture
10. Arrange site inductions and safety-critical medicals as appropriate
Requirements:
* A degree in civil engineering or a relevant construction discipline (required)
* Experience in onsite operations from industrial placements, preferably in structural repairs and strengthening (desirable)
* Mobility to work on civil engineering projects across the London (South East) region
