Job Description A successful and growing business on the outskirts of Scarborough is looking for an Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. Offering a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 plus a fantastic benefits package, including 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), healthcare package, life insurance, generous pension contribution and attractive working hours, with an early finish on a Friday. As an Accountant, you will: Deliver key financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports Develop and enhance dashboards for key stakeholders Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes Analyse gross margin, profitability, and key business metrics Improve financial reporting processes for greater efficiency and insight Provide valuable financial support to senior leaders across the business To be successful in this Accountant role, you will ideally: Hold or be studying towards a finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW or equivalent) Have 2-3 years’ experience in a similar FP&A, analyst, management accountant or financial reporting role Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling Have a solid understanding of P&L, profitability, and key financial metrics Have the ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial insights effectively We are keen to hear from you if you are a Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, Commerical Accountant, or Management Accountant and looking for your next role.
