We are looking for graduates for our Asset Management and Analysis team within Energy, who have a flexible approach and an appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. We want you to enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can apply your skills working for a diverse range of clients and projects.
We are recruiting for Graduates in the following services and locations:
* Power Systems (MEng Electrical Engineering only): Newcastle, Manchester or Glasgow
A little bit more about your role and the team… Working as a Graduate in Asset Management and Analysis team will mean working on exciting and innovative projects. This service line is composed of the Power Systems Consulting and Energy Strategy Consulting teams delivering services to our national and international clients and is comprised of circa 50 colleagues with a range of engineering and multidisciplinary skills.

* Reliability modelling
* Audit and site inspections
* Stability analysis for low carbon technologies connections
* Harmonic studies for large solar PV and battery energy storage systems
* Technical support for grid code compliance testing
* Network innovation projects
Power Systems
Our Asset Management and Analysis team includes: Become a member of our Power Systems team and play a hands‑on role in shaping the UK’s energy future. You’ll work on projects that connect renewable energy, battery storage, and cutting‑edge grid technologies to the national network, directly supporting the transition to net zero. As a graduate, you’ll gain exposure to both the technical and consultancy sides of the business, running power system studies, meeting clients, and helping to solve some of the most complex engineering challenges. You’ll be supported by experienced mentors, encouraged to bring your own ideas, and be part of a collaborative team where your contribution will have a real impact.
Day‑to‑day Activities Could Include
* Supporting the delivery of power system studies (load flow, fault level, stability, harmonics).
* Assisting with grid connection support for renewable and storage developers.
* Contributing to technical reports and client presentations.
* Helping with project proposals and bid documents.
* Learning to use specialist power system software (e.g., DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
* Participating in multi‑disciplinary project teams across the UK and internationally.
* Supporting stakeholder engagement and client meetings.
* Keeping up to date with emerging energy technologies and regulations.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate
You’ll have graduated with at least a 2:2 in Electrical Engineering (Master's). To assist you in finding potential areas of the business that are relevant to you. Please visit our Graduate brochure or website.
* Candidates must complete the application form in full answering all specific questions. This requirement applies to all candidates, inclusive of their background. Successful completion of this stage, will then be required to complete an online skill enabler assessment. Both the application form and the skill enabler assessment are essential parts of the early career’s recruitment process.
