Due to continuous growth, Linney Display is offering an exciting opportunity for a Cardboard Engineer to join our award-winning team. The right candidate might come from a background in cardboard engineering, packaging, structural design, or product design.
We seek a problem solver who loves challenges and works well within a diverse team to take highly creative concepts through to final products or displays.

We are looking for candidates experienced with engineering software such as Artios CAD, AutoCAD, Kasemake, Impact, or similar. Our designs balance creativity and practicality, developing eye-catching, innovative displays that are cost-effective and adhere to brand and retailer guidelines. Teamwork and collaboration are central to our culture, involving working with 3D Designers, Graphic Designers, Engineers, and Project Managers.
As a Cardboard/Structural Designer, your responsibilities include:
* Generating award-winning cardboard engineering cutter guides.
* Understanding manufacturing processes, value engineering, and developing efficiencies.
* Conducting weight testing and experimenting with new structures, prototypes, and materials.
* Communicating effectively with designers and sales teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and retail guidelines.
* Handling a range of briefs from simple shelf trays to complex displays and event setups.
* Thriving in a fast-paced studio environment and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
* Pushing creative boundaries and challenging conventions.
