About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable Technical Services Manager to join the team and take responsibility for overseeing MEP services across a range of cutting-edge fit-out projects, many of which are within laboratory, R&D, and high-performance workspace environments. You’ll manage building services coordination from early-stage design development through to installation, testing, and commissioning. Working alongside consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams, your role will involve managing technical compliance, overseeing drawings and specifications, and ensuring the seamless integration of services with architectural and laboratory-specific features. You’ll act as the go-to person for all MEP-related matters across projects, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are upheld at all times. A strong technical understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, BMS, and compliance requirements, is essential. You’ll be confident reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings and coordinating with design and delivery teams to resolve technical issues on site. Previous experience working within a main contractor or fit-out specialist environment is highly beneficial, particularly where services are integrated into specialist laboratory or commercial interiors. You’ll need strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive approach to health & safety and quality assurance. Relevant technical qualifications in building services, mechanical or electrical engineering are advantageous
