Position: Marketing Assistant
Salary: £28,000(pro rata)
Hours: Part time (22–25 hours per week)
Location: Peterborough
We’re supporting a UK-based organisation in the appointment of a Marketing Assistant to join their Sales and Marketing function.
This is a hands-on and varied role, working closely with a Marketing Manager to support day-to-day marketing activity across digital and offline channels. The position offers exposure to a broad range of marketing tasks and the opportunity to contribute to ongoing campaigns and brand activity.

Key responsibilities
11. Scheduling and publishing content across social media platforms.
12. Supporting the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, newsletters, and digital assets.
13. Assisting with the delivery of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social channels.
14. Updating and maintaining website content.
15. Maintaining internal marketing databases and records.
16. Supporting competitor and market research.
17. Liaising with external suppliers where required.
18. Providing cover for senior marketing responsibilities when needed.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
19. 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing or similar role.
20. Practical experience across digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
21. Experience creating and managing paid advertising campaigns across search engines and social platforms.
22. Working knowledge of SEO principles and content optimisation.
23. Experience planning and delivering email marketing campaigns, including segmentation and performance tracking.
24. Ability to create engaging, on-brand social media content.
25. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
26. Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working to deadlines.
27. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
28. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
29. Essential experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign; Illustrator and Premiere Pro experience is desirable.
30. Experience reviewing campaign performance and ROI is advantageous.
