Job Title: Talent Sourcer
Reports to: People Services Manager
Location: East Sussex (Office Based)
Employment Type: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract (9.00am to 5.00pm)
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Job Purpose
* We are seeking an organised, proactive, and confident Talent Sourcer to support our Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month fixed-term contract
* This role will play a key part in attracting, engaging, and supporting candidates across our branches, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
* This is a fast-paced, hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing multiple priorities, and proactively sourcing talent.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing, Screening & Engagement
* Proactively source candidates using Indeed and other job boards/sourcing tools.
* Prepare and post approved job adverts.
* Perform initial CV sorting against basic role criteria.
* Shortlist and screen candidates to assess suitability, primarily for Community Health Care Assistant roles.
* Conduct interviews confidently via phone or video.
* Understand business and branch requirements to identify candidates aligned with operational needs.
Recruitment Coordination
* Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate notes and records are accurate, and up to date.
* Book interviews and assessments, send invitations, and manage candidate availability.
* Maintain daily recruitment trackers, spreadsheets, and ATS data.
Candidate Communication & Experience
* Provide an exceptional candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment journey.
* Handle routine communication, including confirmation emails, follow-ups, reminders, and information requests.
* Provide timely and clear updates to candidates regarding their application status.
Compliance, Data & Reporting
* Ensure recruitment activities align with employment law, GDPR, and internal compliance standards.
* Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation.
* Input recruitment data into spreadsheets and ATS systems securely.
* Produce weekly activity summaries for review with line Manager.
Recruitment Marketing & Pipeline Support
* Repost job adverts weekly in line with direction from the line Manager.
* Support community outreach, job fairs, and partnership activity by preparing materials or scheduling visits.
* Maintain candidate lead lists and follow up on expressions of interest to build talent pipelines.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Recruitment Resourcer, Talent Sourcer, or similar role.
* Experience sourcing candidates via Indeed or other job boards.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Confident communicator, both verbal (comfortable speaking with candidates at all levels) and written (able to take accurate notes while speaking).
* Proactive, self-motivated, and positive in approach.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Good understanding of employment law and GDPR within the recruitment process.
Contract Details
6-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
