Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate anHGV Class 1 (C+E) curtain side vehiclein Cardiff, Newport, and surrounding South Wales areas
* Complete 1 to 4 local deliveries per shift, ensuring timely and accurate service
* Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects promptly
* Secure loads in compliance with legal and company standards
* Adhere to UK and EU driving regulations and company health & safety policies
* Communicate professionally with transport planners and customers to ensure smooth operations
Driver Requirements:
* ValidHGV Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card
* Minimum 1 years experience driving Class 1 vehicles (curtain side preferred)
* Strong knowledge of UK and EU driving regulations
* Reliable, professional with excellent timekeeping and communication skills
* Able to start shifts early between05:00 and 08:00and work independently
* Customer-focused attitude with a strong safety mindset
Locations & Hotspots:
We welcome drivers fromCardiff, Newport, Bridgend, Barry, Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Cwmbran, Llantrisant,and wider South Wales.
