Sales Order Processor Partridge Green, Horsham £27,000 Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business at a key stage of its development. This is not a standard administration role. This position sits at the centre of operations, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately from entry through to production and invoicing. The quality of order processing directly impacts production, delivery and customer satisfaction. The Role You will take ownership of processing customer orders end to end, ensuring every detail is correct, compliant and aligned with production requirements. You will work closely with Sales, Production, Transport and Accounts to keep orders moving and resolve issues quickly. Key responsibilities include: • Accurately processing customer orders in line with company SOPs • Interpreting specifications, quantities and pricing with precision • Managing workload to meet daily targets and deadlines • Identifying and escalating discrepancies or errors early • Processing orders in Sage, including job cards and specifications • Supporting invoicing and reconciliation processes • Ensuring compliance with requirements such as fire certification and labelling • Managing sample requests and ensuring timely dispatch • Collaborating across departments to maintain workflow • Contributing to process improvements and reducing repeat errors What They Are Looking For This role suits someone who takes ownership, spots problems early and takes pride in getting things right first time.
