Key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role include: Production of monthly management accounts delivered to tight deadlines together with sound analysis and investigation of results and variances for a number of operational units. Line management of two Finance Assistants, including training, setting objectives and progress reviews. Working closely with the operational managers to help drive growth and business performance, with guidance and support from the Financial Controller. Regular site visits to support operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. Preparing annual budgets and forecasts. Assisting the Financial Controller with group reporting and the annual audit process. Completion of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis. Ensure accurate /effective cash flow forecasting. Carry out analysis of capex and preparation of business cases. Involvement in stock audits, monthly reporting & depreciation. Deputisation for the Financial Controller as and when required. Carry out any ad hoc project work as is necessary to support the business objectives. What we're looking for; Qualified or part qualified Accountant (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Excellent spreadsheet skills - knowledge of Google Sheets ideal as well as Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Workday would also be advantageous Prior line management experience would be advantageous.
