An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Animal Studies Team as an Animal Centre Technician.
In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance and promotion of high animal welfare standards and care at all times in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and relevant Codes of Practice across the full range of the College’s educational collection to include small animals, zoo, exotic species and large animals on the Animal Unit.
Responsibilities
As Animal Centre Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal welfare and care across the College’s educational collection in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006 and applicable Codes of Practice.
Qualifications
* GCSE English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
* Level 3 animal management qualification or working towards higher
* Experience or work placement in an animal collection (carried out or in progress)
