Contract Platform / DevOps Engineer, Hybrid Croydon, 3 Months, up to £640 P/D Inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
Configure and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, Redshift, and VPC to support business needs.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab and Jenkins for automated deployments and testing.
Apply DevOps methodologies to streamline development workflows and enhance system resilience.
Write, review, and maintain clean and efficient code/scripts in Terraform, Python, Bash, and Ansible to support automation and infrastructure management.
Leverage Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration to ensure scalable application deployment.
Implement security best practices in cloud infrastructure, including compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and optimize performance across environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform / DevOps Engineer.
Strong proficiency in Terraform and IaC principles.
Expertise in AWS services with practical implementation experience.
Advanced knowledge of Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and CI/CD best practices.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting for automation.
Demonstrated ability to enforce cloud security compliance and governance policies.
