Contract / Position Details
10. Location: Various schools in Dorset and South Somerset
11. Position: Secondary Supply Teacher (covering multiple subjects)
12. Type of Work: Delivering lessons and maintaining classroom standards in the absence of the class teacher
13. Start Date: ASAP
14. Duration: Ongoing until further notice
15. Contract Type: Temporary
16. Full-time / Part-time: Both available – daily supply
17. Minimum Rate of Pay: From £135 per day
18. Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
Experience, Training and Qualifications
19. Essential: QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification Previous experience working in a UK secondary school
20. Desirable: Up-to-date Safeguarding training (issued within the last year) Strong classroom management and adaptability
Eligibility Requirements
To work through Prospero Teaching, you must:
21. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
22. Have an enhanced child-barred list DBS certificate registered on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
23. Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
