Pets Retail Assistant Temporary Position - Notcutts Oxford Garden Centre
Part time - 20 hours per week
This position will also include working every other weekend and some bank holidays. An element of flexibility will be required
Salary: Up to £12.31 per hour
This is a temporary fixed term contract to finish 31st March 2026.
Notcutts are a family owned Garden Centre Group in the UK. Our Pet Department is an important part of our Garden Centre and a significant reason for customers to visit us. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pets Retail Assistant to join our existing team at our Oxford Garden Centre.
As a Pets Retail Assistant you will join the team in taking responsibility of the day to day running of the Pet Department, including caring for animals, maintaining stock displays, adhering to all animal compliance, merchandising and customer service. Experience in caring for household pets and aquatic animals in a retail environment would be beneficial.
Ideally we are looking for a candidate with a qualification in animal welfare and experience of working and caring for animals. However, full training is given. So if you enjoy working with animals and people (in that order!) whilst ensuring that you provide our customers with an excellent customer experience, then we want to hear from you.
