Assistant Aftersales Manager

Location: Kingston (SW20 0AD)

Salary: £35,000 basic (realistic OTE £40,000)

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm, and Saturday Rota 8.00 am – 1.00pm (paid in addition)

Toyota Kingston is offering an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Aftersales Manager to assist in making an impact across the full customer after sales journey, helping to define and deliver the right digital and physical customer touchpoints.

Assisting the Aftersales Manager you will be responsible for exceeding customer expectations regarding the aftercare of their vehicles. Leading the team by personally demonstrating and encouraging the skills and behaviours associated with a Customer First philosophy. You will oversee scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring while maintaining a hands-on approach to support the team. As the primary escalation point for complex or high-priority cases, you will use your expertise and problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Participating fully in all aspects of centre management, working with colleagues across the business including Service, Parts and Workshop to provide a seamless service to customers and progress the business across all disciplines

KEY TASKS

* Building Rapport with customers to ensure their journey is seamless, improving all areas of customer satisfaction by measuring and monitoring all feedback
* Assisting to ensure that the work carried out by the aftersales department achieves the required levels of profitability, work quality and customer satisfaction
* To assist in identifying any weaknesses throughout the aftersales operation and support colleagues to make relevant improvements
* Assisting the Aftersales Manager with general administration and report generating functions
* Ensuring a high standard of departmental housekeeping is maintained at all times
* Any other adhoc duties / projects required by the Aftersales Manager

Person Specification

* Excellent customer service skills with a passion for working with people.
* Record of working within customer services or a customer-facing role in the retail industry.
* Able to take initiative and ownership of issues; is proactive, has a 'can-do' attitude.
* Previous Supervision/ leadership experience
* Willingness to learn, develop and keep up-to-date with technical/product information.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
* Strong people/communication skill
* Is a team player willing to support your colleagues
* Has the ability to build relationships and display empathy
* Holds a full UK driving licence.

Part-Time Fleet Driver

Location: Currie Motors, Twickenham

Salary: £12.50 per hour

Hours: 3 days per week (Monday–Wednesday), 8:30am – 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch. Flexibility to work a 4th day when required.

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time (approx. 22.5 hours per week)

About the Role

Currie Motors is looking for a reliable and professional Fleet Driver to join our busy Fleet Department in Twickenham. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, supporting the team and ensuring an excellent experience for our customers. Most deliveries are to customers' addresses, so you'll often be the face of Currie Motors.

Key Responsibilities

* Collect and deliver vehicles to and from customers, ensuring accuracy, care and efficiency.
* Use public transport to return to Twickenham after most deliveries.
* Move vehicles between the company compound and other dealerships when required.
* Handle all vehicles with professionalism, following safety and security procedures at all times.
* Use handheld devices/phones to complete electronic handovers.
* Support with general Fleet Department tasks and other ad hoc duties as required by the Corporate Manager.

About You

* Confident in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence (age 21+ for insurance purposes).
* Comfortable working independently, using your own initiative, and confident navigating via public transport.
* Customer-focused, friendly, and well presented with good communication skills.
* Some experience using handheld devices/phones for work purposes would be an advantage.
* Able to provide a checkable school and/or work history.
