Company and Location
Boeing Defence UK Limited (BDUK) is a subsidiary of the Boeing Company currently employing over 2000 people in the UK, based at Wattisham Air Field. The role supports BDUK personnel’s training requirements.
Responsibilities
* Proactively manage the maintenance authorisations for Operations Personnel.
* Identify, arrange and coordinate external training providers when required.
* Deliver required courses with the assistance of the T&A Team, as requested by the operations team.
* Provide shop‑floor level on‑the‑job training for maintenance activities as required.
* Monitor development plans of apprentices and provide guidance.
* Collaborate with Training, Quality and Apprentice Teams to achieve desired outcomes.
* Collaborate seamlessly with other MRO platforms to ensure ongoing success of BDUK MRO.
* Manage ad‑hoc MRO projects as directed by Senior Leadership.
* Travel may be required based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
* Experience delivering aircraft maintenance training.
* Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with personnel at all levels.
* Demonstrable ability to manage workload proactively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Candidates with an appropriate mix of formal qualifications and experience will be considered.
Work Authorisation
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance. UK citizenship is required.
Relocation
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
