The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services. The role will be based in our London office at least 3 days a week on site.
The Senior Electrical Engineer forms part of the engineering team based in London. The role assumes general responsibilities that proactively contribute to Project delivery and design.
This includes responsibility for all design of Lighting layouts, small power, containment, LV schematics, transformer sizing, etc.; General administration and compliance with project requirements for the disciplines.
Undertake and lead a full technical design, design markups and overseeing drawing production for project delivery on electrical projects.
Production of detailed specifications and schedules to ensure compliance with the applicable standards and industry guides.
Complete all relevant designs by completing detailed calculations to meet the regulatory, industry, and business requirements.
Proficient in the use of engineering software tools including, Dialux or Relux, Amtech
Review of the co-ordinated construction drawings and documentation.
Detailed review of specialist supplier packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable industry standards.
Knowledge of testing, commissioning and certification of electrical services will be beneficial.
Basic drawing production within AutoCAD or Revit would be beneficial.
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Services Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in electrical project engineering or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems from a design or construction perspective.
• Good knowledge of the current electrical, fire alarm and emergency lighting standards.
